I went with Ken's recommendation for the surface (luxury vinyl planks) and he did an amazing job of demoing the stubborn previous floor and laying down the new planks with fresh baseboard. My hardwood floor looks beautiful and I can enjoy it fully knowing that it's installed properly (I've experienced the less-fun opposite). As an invaluable bonus, when I had an apparent water issue that damaged a couple of planks two years post-installation, I contacted Ken who responsively visited to advise. In a surprise twist, he flawlessly fixed the issue on the spot - not only solving the problem with the damaged planks but also bringing my attention to the root cause. Ken consistently brings his experience, precision, professionalism, and eye for aesthetics when he does a job, and he's the kind of person you can trust and enjoy having in your home during any sized project.
